Philosophy~ Illustration and photography is much like learning to see, as if for the very first time, the essence that lives and luminance’s within something. It’s a composition of pre-visualized color, pattern, texture, form, light and science blended with an eye and intuition to act upon it.

In a world of visual over load I try to isolate a moment in time that draws the viewer to a specific vantage point that creates a positive emotional response.

Creativity is finding something interesting in an ordinary place. And object a mood or presence that others may not have seen or overlooked. Creativity is a life long pursuit of observation, constant trial and error experimentation and skill development. I have observed, “It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

Background ~ For over thirty years Mike has been studying and developing his artistic, photographic skills; and over the last 10 years, computer graphics talents. While his formal education was not in these disciplines, being self taught, he has integrated a business degree and a successful sales and marketing career with his passion for creativity.

Applying his artistic and photographic talents into his daily work flow with notable companies such as Polaroid, Hasselbald, Oscar Mayer, Kendall Medical and numerous start ups, Mike provides a unique artistic perspective on the art of creativity in both the private and corporate sectors. His work has been featured nationally in corporate brochures, magazines, books, posters and commissioned fine arts. Mike has been an active member of Professional Photographers of America, NE Professional Photographers Association, and instructed at Hasselblad University. Over the last nine years, Mike has been working with architects, contractors and interior designers providing traditional digital imaging, computer aided photography and marketing communications support for a number of Boston area clients.
